Oprah Meadows

Oprah was born about 1875 in Daviess Co., Missouri.¹ Oprah's father was James Augustus Meadows and her mother was Ruth Angeline Jarrett. Her paternal grandparents were John Meadows and Nancy Gwinn. She had six brothers and a sister, named Oliver L., Colmore R., Charles, Claude C., John V., Noel E. and Ella E.. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She died before 1882 in Missouri.¹
