Mary was born in 1700 in Essex Co., Virginia.1   Mary's father was JOHN MEADOWS and her mother was Aubrey.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Meadows and SARAH HOSKINS. She had four brothers and a sister, named Jonas, Job, Jason, Joshua Joel and Dinah Esther.  She was the third oldest of the six children. She had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Richard, Thomas, John, Rachel, Elizabeth, Hope and Esther.  She died at the age of 21 in 1721 in Essex Co., Virginia.1
