Jonas Meadows 
Jonas was born about 1698 in Essex Co., Virginia.1 Jonas' father was JOHN MEADOWS and his mother was Aubrey. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Meadows and SARAH HOSKINS. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Job, Jason, Joshua Joel, Dinah Esther and Mary. He was the second oldest of the six children. He had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Richard, Thomas, John, Rachel, Elizabeth, Hope and Esther. He died on August 22nd, 1768 in Cumberland Co., Virginia.1 -
