Modeste Mayeux 
Modeste was born about 1774.1 Modeste's father was Joseph Mayeux and her mother was Adrienne Bordelon. Her paternal grandparents were PIERRE Francois Mayeux and NICOLE Prevost; her maternal grandparents were Laurent Nicolas Bordelon and Adrienne Rondot. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Antoine, Lufroy, Joseph, Armaline Julie and Clemence. She died before January 2nd, 1811.1 -

Modeste and Etienne were married in a religious ceremony on September 30th, 1793 in Avoyelles Post.1 They had four sons and three daughters, named Etienne, Joseph, Paulin, Zenon, Seraphine, Marie and Severina.
