Floyd was born on July 2nd, 1872 in Wyoming Co., West Virginia.1 Floyd's father was Floyd Lusk and his mother was Clarissa Lambert. His paternal grandfather was Eli Lusk and his paternal grandmother is Nancy Lambert. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Powell A., Ingram, Tollison, Monterville, Levi, John, Charlotte and Amanda Jane. He is the youngest of the nine children.-
