John Heard dec'd. John Heard, Jr., Ephriam Heard, and John Dyson appointed admrs. It is said in misc. records that Ephraim is John's nephew, in accordance with the Heard's coustom ofapointing 2 sos and a nephew as adm. or exec. of estates. However, Ephraim, ths son of Joseph was not born until 1811.

When No. 31 John Heard applied for land, he stated that he had a wife and a five month old son. This would be No. 133 John Heard.
Living on 150 acres about 1 mile above Horn's Cabin on a branch of Fishing Creek.
Receipt of Dr. Gilbert Hay, of Samuel Heard 1799-1800, legacy due him from estate of Charles, & jof Ann Owens, Mar 1800 for her legacy. Receipt of Stephen Heard Sr, 1799 for brandy, cash lent etc in 1794; receipt of John Heard for corn 1787 & money lent 1792.
