George Ferrell Heard 
George Ferrell was born on April 16th, 1841 in Oxford, Lafayette Co., MS.1 George Ferrell's father was William Heard and his mother is Sarah Ann Ferrell. His paternal grandparents were GEORGE Heard and Patter. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Madison, Billy, Antoinette W. and Ann. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 83 on December 11th, 1924 in Oxford, Lafayette Co., MS. He was buried in Oxford, Lafayette Co., MS.1 1 General Notes
