Ewing was born on January 16th, 1871 in Lee Co., MS.1 Ewing's father was Stephen Autry Heard and her mother was Elizabeth Carolina Mayes. Her paternal grandparents were GEORGE Heard and Patter. She had a brother and three sisters, named Hillman Blair, Nannie Antoinette, Herring and Elizabeth Carolina. She was the youngest of the five children. She had a half-sister named Frances. She died at the age of 86 on May 14th, 1957 in Lee Co., MS. She was buried after May 14th, 1957 in Union Cemetery, Heardtown, Lee Co., MS.1 1 -
