John Dingess 
John was born on February 21st, 1812 in Logan Co., Virginia.1 John's father was Peter Dingess and his mother is Sarah Farley. His paternal grandparents were JOHANNES Peter Dingess and MARY Smith. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Guy, William Anderson, Charles F., Matilda, Polly, Julia Y., Minerva and Harriet. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died after 1880 in Logan Co., West Virginia.2 -
