John Dingess

John was born about 1866.¹ John's father was Henderson Dingess and his mother was Sarah Adams. His paternal grandparents were John Dingess and Chloe Farley. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Charles C., Floyd, Hugh, Harvey, David, Mary Ann, Philena, Farabell, Harriett and Caroline. He is the sixth oldest of the eleven children.
