Floyd Dingess

Floyd was born about 1856 in Logan Co., Virginia.¹ Floyd's father was Henderson Dingess and his mother was Sarah Adams. His paternal grandparents were John Dingess and Chloe Farley. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Charles C., Hugh, John, Harvey, David, Mary Ann, Philena, Farabell, Harriett and Caroline. He is the second oldest of the eleven children.
