Jacques was born on March 20th, 1759 in Pointe Coupee, Louisiana.1 Jacques' father was Jacques desAutels and his mother was Anne Stephan Roquancourt. His maternal grandparents were Jean Stephan dit Roquancourt and ANNE Francoise Roland. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Nicolas, Jacques Antoine, Angelique, Adrienne and Eulalie. He was the oldest of the six children. He died before 1820 in St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.1 -
