Nicolas was born on February 7th, 1761 in Pointe Coupee, Louisiana.1 Nicolas' father was Jacques desAutels and his mother was Anne Stephan Roquancourt. His maternal grandparents were Jean Stephan dit Roquancourt and ANNE Francoise Roland. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Jacques, Jacques Antoine, Angelique, Adrienne and Eulalie. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died after 1820.1 -
