Marcelin Deshotels

Marcelin was born in 1795 in Opelousas, Louisiana.¹ Marcelin's father was Jacques Deshotels and his mother is Felicite Fontenot. His paternal grandparents were Jacques desAutels and Anne Stephan Roquancourt. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Jacques, Israel, Marie Louise, Marie Anne, Aimee, Eugenie and Euphrosine. Marcelin is no longer alive.¹
