John Thomas Dean 
John Thomas was born on October 15th, 1881 in Virginia.1 John Thomas' father was Thorton Dean and his mother was Harriett Clementine Meadows. His maternal grandparents were Thomas W. Meadows and Elizabeth Breeding. He had thirteen brothers and six sisters, named William Henry Hezekiah, Zachariah, Michael Mitchell, Esaw, Jacob, Isaiah, Jeremiah, James Thorton, Esau, Jacob, Zacharia, Zedakiah, Solomon, Sarah Jane Ann, Mary Hester, Rhoda Catherine, Henerietta Jane, Geogianna and Cordelia Frances. He died at the age of 86 on November 30th, 1967 in Three Springs, Rockingham Co., Virginia. He was buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McGaheysville, Rockingham Co., Virginia.1 1 General Notes
