James Joseph Davis 
James Joseph was born in May 1849 in Logan Co., Virginia.1 James Joseph's father was George Davis and his mother is Juliet Dillion. His maternal grandparents were Christopher Dillion and Rhoda Bailey. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Chistopher, William, Samuel, Melvin, Rhoda, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Sally, Martha and Lydia. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died after 1896.1 -
