Lake Erie was born on February 7th, 1892 in Keyrock, Wyoming Co., West Virginia.1 Lake Erie's father is Irvin Jacob Cook and her mother was Cornelia Jane Bailey. Her maternal grandparents are Isaac Bailey and Jane Ann Brooks. She had four brothers and a sister, named Joda O., Brook J., Perry A., Jode and Brookie Jane. She died at the age of 89 in 1981.1 -
