Balaam Bell

Balaam was born on January 4th, 1765 in Sussex County, Virginia.¹ Balaam's father was James Bell and his mother was Mildred Robinson. His paternal grandparents were JOHN Bell and HANNAH STOKES. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named George, Benjamin, Anne, Hannah, Mary Elizabeth, Rebecca, Mildred Lucas, Betty Sawbridge and Sallie Wilkes. He is the fifth youngest of the ten children.
