Rosalie Barre 
Rosalie was born in 1831 in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana.1 Rosalie's father was Evariste Broyard Barre and her mother was Marceline GASPARD. Her paternal grandparents were ETIENNE BROYARD BARRE and GENEVIEVE DUGUE. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Marcelline, Hypolite, Evariste, Marceline and Paulina. She was the oldest of the six children. She died about 1879 in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana.1 General Notes
