Marceline Barre 
Marceline was born on January 12th, 1832 in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana.1 Marceline's father was Evariste Broyard Barre and her mother was Marceline GASPARD. Her paternal grandparents were ETIENNE BROYARD BARRE and GENEVIEVE DUGUE. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Marcelline, Hypolite, Evariste, Rosalie and Paulina. She is the second oldest of the six children.-
