Rosa Belle was born on June 21st, 1878 in Mercer Co., West Virginia.1 Rosa Belle's father was George Monroe Bailey and her mother is Mary Letitia Hedrick. Her paternal grandparents were Jonathan Simms Bailey and Ursula Walker. She had five sisters named Felicia, Nita, Georgia, Mary Ersula and Letitia. She had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named German, Minnie, Beulah Ree, Bailey and Creola. She died about 1961 in Bluefield, Mercer Co., West Virginia.1 -
