James Linford Bailey 
James Linford was born in December 1848 in Logan Co., Virginia.1 James Linford's father was Thomas Bailey and his mother was Priscilla Cooke. His paternal grandparents were Archibald Bailey and Agnes Nancy Godfrey. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Louden, Isaac, David C., Judson, Andrew, Ivison L., Mary Hasetine and Cosby C.. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 36 on March 22nd, 1885 in Wyoming Co., West Virginia.1 -
