James' father was James Bailey and his mother is Elizabeth. His paternal grandparents were JAMES Bailey and LUCY SIMMS. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Obediah, William, Elizabeth, Phoebe and Frances. He had four half-sisters named Elizabeth, Martha, Polly and Nancy Anne. He died about 1830.1 -
