Frances' father was James Bailey and her mother is Elizabeth. Her paternal grandparents were JAMES Bailey and LUCY SIMMS. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Obediah, James, William, Elizabeth and Phoebe. She has four half-sisters named Elizabeth, Martha, Polly and Nancy Anne.-
