Simeon Young 
Simeon was born in May 1839 in Kanawha Co., VA. Simeon's father was John Hickman Young and his mother was Sarah Tate. His paternal grandparents were Mathias Gayhart I Young and Nancy Sarah Hickman; his maternal grandparents were Joshua Tate and Susanna Hinecker. He had five brothers and six sisters, named William Lewis, Mathias S., John H. P., George Robert, Henry Fry, Mary Ann, Susan Catherine, Matilda A., Sarah Elizabeth, Nancy and Julia A.. He is the sixth oldest of the twelve children.-
