William VAN KIRK

William was born in 1710 and his baptism took place on February 5th, 1710 in Freehold, Monmouth, New Jersey. William's father was Jan Janse Verkerk and his mother was Gertie Alsey. His paternal grandparents were Jan Jansz Verkerck and Marijke Gijsberts. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Henry, John, Arthur, Mayke, Sytje, Sarah, Alice, Rebecca and Jannetje. He is the fifth oldest of the ten children.
