Henry was born on December 17th, 1740 in Monmouth, NJ. Henry's father was Henry VAN KIRK and his mother was Dorothy MORGAN. His paternal grandparents were Jan Janse Verkerk and Gertie Alsey; his maternal grandparents are Andrew Charles MORGAN and Mary Gisberts. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Benjamin, Joseph, John, Dorothy and Jemima. He died at the age of 57 on April 3rd, 1798 in Amwell, PA.General Notes
