Mary was born on March 18th, 1496 in Richmond Palace, Richmond, Yorkshire, England.  Mary's father was Henry VII Tudor and her mother was Elizabeth Plantagenet.  Her paternal grandparents were Edmund TUDOR and Margaret BEAUFORT; her maternal grandparents were Edward Plantagenet and Elizabeth WYDEVILLE. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Roland, Arthur, Henry, Son, Edmund, Margaret, Elizabeth and Katherine.  She was the third youngest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 37 on June 24th, 1533 in Westhorpe Hall, , Suffolk, England.  She was buried on July 22nd, 1533 in Abbey Church, St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England.
