Charles V was born on January 21st, 1337 in Chcateau De Vincennes, Vincennes, France.  Charles V's father was Jean II Valois and his mother was Jutte (Bonne) Princess Of BOHEMIA.  His paternal grandparents were Philippe VI Valois and Jeanne De BOURGOGNE; his maternal grandparents were Jan King Of BOHEMIA and Eliska Queen Of BOHEMIA. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Louis I, Jean I, Philippe II, Blanche, Catherine, Jeanne, Marie, Agnaes, Marquerite and Isabel.  He was the second oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 43 on September 16th, 1380 in Nogent-Sur-Marne, France.

‌Charles V and Jeanne De were married in a religious ceremony on April 8th, 1350 in , Lyon, Rhone, France.  They had three sons and six daughters, named Jean, Charles VI, Louis, Jeanne, Bonne, Jean, Marie, Isabelle and Catherine.
