Hiram Shannon was born on January 28th, 1883 in Goodlettsville, TN.1 Hiram Shannon's father was Dillard L Todd and his mother was Sarah Elizabeth Gannon. His paternal grandfather was Granville Todd and his paternal grandmother is Mary Ann WILSON; his maternal grandparents were Samuel P Gannon and Sussanah C Stacy. He had four brothers and five sisters, named James Granville, Samuel Nathaniel, Dillard L, Dillard Andrew, Dora, Susanna, Mary Jane, Joanna and Grace. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 63 on September 21st, 1946 in dallas,texas.
