James O. Thaxton

James O. was born in April 1898 in Virginia. James O.'s father was Oscar Eugene Thaxton and his mother was Zulena J. "Lena" Guthrie. His paternal grandfather was David Thomas Thaxton and his paternal grandmother is Lucy Ann Mary Lazenby. He had a brother and a sister, named Wilford E. and Lucile. He was the youngest of the three children.
