Rufus Sweet

Rufus was born about 1668 in Of Gloucester,Providence,Rhode Island. Rufus' father was John Sweet and his mother was Elizabeth Scott Jefferys. His paternal grandparents were John Sweet and Mary UNKNOWN; his maternal grandfather was Robert Jeffreys and his maternal grandmother is Mary UNKNOWN. He had eight brothers and a sister, named John, Daniel, James, Richard, Benjamin, Henry, William, Jeremiah and Miss. He was the youngest of the ten children. He died on December 23rd, 1732 in Gloucester,Providence,Rhode Island.
