George Washington Stover

George Washington was born about 1840 in Pendleton, Virginia/West Virginia.  George Washington's father was John  J. Stover and his mother was Catherine Mary Hartman.  His maternal grandparents are John Hartman and Mary Hunter. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Samuel Pleasant, Jacob B., John Wesley, Silvanus(Saul) Harper, James L., William P., David H., Benjamin Franklin, Mary M, Susan and Harriet Permelia.  He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children.  He died on December 23rd, 1872 in Mason, West Virginia.  He was buried in Spruce Cemetery, Mason, West Virginia.
