Andrew SWEARINGEN 
Andrew was born on February 17th, 1747 in Shepherdstown, Jefferson, West Virginia. Andrew's father was Thomas Andrew Swearingen and his mother was Sarah MORGAN. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Swearingen and Jane Lydia Riley; his maternal grandparents are Richard MORGAN and Unknown (MORGAN). He had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Van (Indian), Zachariah, Joseph, Benoni, Drusilla, Sarah and Eleanor. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 77 on June 26th, 1824 in Chartiers Twp., Washington, Pennsylvania. He was buried in Cooke Cemetery, So. Strabane Twp, Washington, Pennsylvania.General Notes
