Barbara De was born in 1636 in Valenciennes, Nord, France.1   Barbara De's father is Isaac De Barrette.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 34 in 1670 in St. Mary's County, Maryland.1

‌Barbara De and Garret Van were married in a religious ceremony on March 1st, 1660 in New Castle, DE.  They had a son named Thomas.
