Thomas Swearingen 
Thomas was born in 1665 in New Amstel, Delaware.1 Thomas' father was Garret Van Swearngin and his mother was Barbara De Barrette. His paternal grandparents are David Janse Swieringh and Hester Jacobs; his maternal grandfather is Isaac De Barrette. He was an only child. He died at the age of 44 on July 29th, 1709 in Prince George County, Maryland.1 General Notes
