Silas King SHOEMAKER 
Silas King was born on December 19th, 1800 in Gibson Creek, Pendleton, Ky. Silas King's father was Lakey SHOEMAKER and his mother was Sally ELLIS. His paternal grandparents are Jesse SHOEMAKER and Nancy UNKNOWN; his maternal grandparents are Jezreel ELLIS and Sitha HARVEY. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Jezreel, Benjamin, Daniel, Jeremiah, Heber, Alexander Morain, John, Jessenett, Elizabeth, Nancy and Mariann. He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 77 on August 23rd, 1878 in Butler, Pendleton, Ky. He was buried in August 1878 in Shoemaker Cemete, Pendleton, Ky.General Notes
