Rhoda Ann SHELTON 
Rhoda Ann was born in January 1835 in Fairfield, Bedford, Tennessee and her baptism took place in September 1848 in Garrison Forks, Bedford Co, Tennessee. Rhoda Ann's father was Jessee SHELTON and her mother was Nancy MONTGOMERY. Her paternal grandparents were Stephen W. Shelton and Rhoda Green; her maternal grandparents are John MONTGOMERY and Matilda UNKNOWN. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named William Harvey, James Henery, Leonard Thomas, George Allen, Bartley Martin, Jessie Jackson, Matthew Martin "Matt", Mary Ann (J.E.), Harriett Catherine, Francis Melinda and Nancy Ann Victory. She had three half-brothers named Stephen W, John Wesley and Wiley Preston. She died at the age of 78 on October 20th, 1913 in 8th Civil Dist., Bedford, Tennessee.General Notes
