Shelton and Rhoda Green; his maternal grandparents are John MONTGOMERY and Matilda UNKNOWN. He had six brothers and five sisters, named William Harvey, James Henery, Leonard Thomas, George Allen, Bartley Martin, Matthew Martin "Matt", Mary Ann (J.E.), Rhoda Ann, Harriett Catherine, Francis Melinda and Nancy Ann Victory. He had three half-brothers named Stephen W, John Wesley and Wiley Preston. He died at the age of 23 on May 16th, 1864 in Drewey's Bluff, , Virginia.General Notes
