His paternal grandparents were John SCARBOROUGH and Sarah ASHBY; his maternal grandparents are Robert PIERSON and Mary JANNEY. He had two brothers and five sisters, named William, John, Elizabeth, Mary, Susannah, Hannah and Sarah. He died at the age of 96 on January 19th, 1805 in Solebury, Bucks, PA.General Notes
