His maternal grandparents were Frederick Hoover and Catharine BRUMBAUGH. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John Hoover, Samuel Hoover, David Hoover, Jacob Hoover, Catharine Elizabeth, Susanna, Mary, Barbara and Nancy H.. He was the youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 76 on October 14th, 1925 in Meridan, Jefferson Co., KS.-
