Jacob Hoover was born on February 7th, 1845 in Hagerstown, Wayne Co., IN. Jacob Hoover's father is David Replogle and his mother was Nancy Ann Hoover. His maternal grandparents were Frederick Hoover and Catharine BRUMBAUGH. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John Hoover, Samuel Hoover, David Hoover, Levi Hoover, Catharine Elizabeth, Susanna, Mary, Barbara and Nancy H.. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 38 on July 1st, 1883.-
