Joshua ROPER

Joshua was born in 1780 and his baptism took place on September 24th, 1780 in Sheffield Cathedral, Yorks, Eng.  Joshua's father was Joshua ROPER and his mother is Dorothy FROST.  His paternal grandparents are Joshua ROPER and Sarah BOOTH; his maternal grandparents are William FROST and Ellin SWIFT. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named William, Philip, Frederic, John, Abel, William, Robert, John, Hannah and Sarah.  He was the second oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 50 on June 23rd, 1830.
