John ROPER

John was born in 1800 and his baptism took place on November 7th, 1800 in Sheffield Cathedral, Yorks, Eng.  John's father was Joshua ROPER and his mother is Dorothy FROST.  His paternal grandparents are Joshua ROPER and Sarah BOOTH; his maternal grandparents are William FROST and Ellin SWIFT. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named William, Joshua, Philip, Frederic, John, Abel, William, Robert, Hannah and Sarah.  He was the youngest of the eleven children.  John is no longer alive.
