Thomas Cottam was born on April 3rd, 1876 in St. George, Washington, Ut. Thomas Cottam's father was Miles Park ROMNEY and his mother was Catherine Jane COTTAM. His paternal grandparents were Miles ROMNEY and Elizabeth GASKELL; his maternal grandparents were Thomas COTTAM and Caroline SMITH. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Thomas Cottam, Junius, Claude, Park, Vernon, Caroline Cottam, Emma, Ethel, Ida and Lula. He was the third oldest of the eleven children.
