Caroline Cottam was born on June 21st, 1874 in St. George, Wash., Ut. Caroline Cottam's father was Miles Park ROMNEY and her mother was Catherine Jane COTTAM. Her paternal grandparents were Miles ROMNEY and Elizabeth GASKELL; her maternal grandparents were Thomas COTTAM and Caroline SMITH. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Thomas Cottam, Thomas Cottam, Junius, Claude, Park, Vernon, Emma, Ethel, Ida and Lula. She was the oldest of the eleven children.
