Obediah Hezikiah was born on July 6th, 1843 in Library, Allegheny, Pa. Obediah Hezikiah's father was John RIGGS and his mother was Mary PHILLIPS. His paternal grandparents were Edward RIGGS and Mary HIGBEE; his maternal grandfather was Josiah PHILLIPS. He had nine brothers and a sister, named David, Edward R., Josiah, Lewis T., Joseph B., John P., Robert L., (Dr.) William J., (Dr.) Isaac W. and Sarah. He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 64 on September 11th, 1907 in Cincinnati, Hamilton, Oh.
