John RIGGS 
John was born on March 6th, 1800 in Library, Allegheny, Pa. John's father was Edward RIGGS and his mother was Mary HIGBEE. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Edward, Nancy, Eleanor and Mary. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 47 on February 22nd, 1848.General Notes

John and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on January 3rd, 1821. They had ten sons and a daughter, named David, Edward R., Josiah, Lewis T., Joseph B., John P., Robert L., (Dr.) William J., Obediah Hezikiah, (Dr.) Isaac W. and Sarah.

Obediah Hezikiah was born on July 6th, 1843 in Library, Allegheny, Pa. He died at the age of 64 on September 11th, 1907 in Cincinnati, Hamilton, Oh. He was buried on September 14th, 1907 in Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence, Jackson, Mo.
