Her paternal grandparents were Antrim ROBBINS and Lydia RODGERS; her maternal grandfather was Mahlon WRIGHT and her maternal grandmother is Ann WILGUS. She had two brothers and three sisters, named George Edward, John Franklin, Georgeanna Pacific, Mary Frances and Sarah Frances. She was the second youngest of the six children.
