She is mention as Catharine Prat in the will of Christina Cappoens in 1687, but not mentioned in her father's will in 1739. She is believed to have been one of "my three sisters" referred to in the will of Annetje Bodet, 1767, as having received their shares of the land bequeathed to Sarah Molenaer, their half-sister, under the will of Christina Cappoens. These sisters are identified as being Elizabeth Meserole, Christina Provost and , probably Catharine. The fourth sister Maria Van Zandt, died in 1709, and her estate could not, in all probability, have shared in Sarah Molenaer's inheritance. It is considered that Catharine Praa reached adult age, died before 1739, and probably had no issue.
